Dear Friends,
On June 8 of this year, Shepherd of the Lake passed a milestone by reaching 10 years as a chartered ELCA Lutheran church congregation. To honor that achievement we have planned a celebratory event at the Tellico Village Yacht Club on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Since your congregation is a partner with us in so many ways, we would like to invite any and all of your members to join us in this celebration.
We will begin the day with our Sunday service at 9:00 am with the dinner following at 4:30 pm. The buffet meal will consist of a spring salad, pork tenderloin, chicken piccata, mashed potatoes and string beans almondine at a cost of $15/person. A cash bar will also be available.
Should you decide to join us, please mail your check payable to Shepherd of the Lake indicating “Anniversary Dinner” in the memo. Or, you may deliver it yourself to our church office. Don’t hesitate to call Sandy, our office administrator, at 865-816-4756 with any questions you may have. Deadline for reservations is September 15.
