Greetings, and thanks for your interest in Church of the Resurrection.
Resurrection is a hopeful, healing, transformation-minded kind of place, a place where people can grow their relationship with God and with one another. We’re particularly interested in showing love to our neighbors in Loudon and the surrounding counties, and we’ve been doing that as Resurrection people since 1963. Whether it’s feeding ministries to our hungry neighbors, adopting a local school, or hosting Ribfest so that we can address insufficient housing through Habitat for Humanity, we’re here to shower God’s transforming love on all our neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ.
Looking for a place to refresh your soul? Have questions to ask about these times in which we’re living? Wondering what God is up to in your life? Searching for some hope to sustain you through something difficult? Whether you have never been to church, have been away for a long time, or are just feeling spiritually restless and in need of something MORE in your life, Resurrection is a safe and welcoming place to begin, no matter who you are.
If you have watched some of our live streams, and our service seems different to you, please know there are explanations in the bulletin all along the way, so it’s easy to follow along in person, even if you’ve never been before. It always feels a little risky to walk into a new place, but we also know we have a place full of joy, of hope – a place that might be just for you. We invite you to come as you are; come and see what God has in store for you and for your family.

Peace and hope in Jesus Christ –

The Rev. Amy Hodges Morehous
