First Responders & Neighbors
At Christmas, Resurrection members spread holiday cheer by baking and sharing homemade cookies with local police officers, firefighters, rescue squad members, and our neighbors. It’s a simple way to say thank you, Merry Christmas, and you are part of our community.
Four Paws
Four Paws Food Pantry was founded back in the 2009 recession by three women who volunteered at the Loudon County shelter and saw how many people were bringing in pets they could no longer afford to feed. Learn more
Friendship Kitchen
The third Monday of every other month, Resurrection partners with the Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church to deliver meals to about 100 residents of Loudon County who are shut-ins or having trouble getting out and about. Learn more
Invite, Welcome and Connect Committee
This committee follows the national Invite Welcome Connect program to help newcomers and visitors feel comfortable when visiting our church for the first time. Our goal is simple: to help every newcomer feel welcomed, valued, and connected. Learn more
Paper Bag Pageant
Our Paper Bag Pageant began around 1990 as a joyful outreach to adults with intellectual disabilities who participate in Adult Community Training in our area. It has become a beloved Christmas tradition for our guests and our congregation alike. Learn more
The Good Samaritan Center was established as a central location for area churches and organizations to come together and pool their resources to assist those in need in Loudon County. Learn more
